How does an eSIM work in a phone?
An eSIM is a specialised microchip that's built into the phone. This chip allows you to create several eSIM profiles, which act like physical SIM cards. Each profile has its own phone number and data plan.

After registering for your eSIM you’ll receive a QR code – simply scan it to start set up. Detailed instructions for your specific device can be found in our device guides

If you have a SIM already installed in your phone, you might be asked to select which SIM to use for your data and default number. Select the Vodafone eSIM for both - you can change this anytime.
